Table Of Contents

Client & Modification Types:

  • Clients, what are they?
    • A client is what starts and runes your MC instance, something that you can download on your PC to improve gameplay, or add mods and other features; though there are restrictions to these clients and what can be done with them.
    • Clients like Wurst, Impact, Wolf, Future, or Inertia are Banned from being used on Flagclash, being caught using these types of clients will result in a consequence
  • Modifications, What's too far?
    • A modification is an addon that's installed or put into the game, these can offer minimal to drastic changes to the vanilla game that may improve gameplay or experience.
    • Modifications should only stick to being Client-Sided, Meaning it should not affect others gameplay in any context, examples would be Optifine and Sodium, which offer a FPS increase, alongside Shaders; which are a visual enhancer to make the game look more realistic or beautiful
    • As soon as a modification is added that affects others gameplay through combat enhancements, increased speed or reach. it'll no longer be considered a client-sided mod
    • Exceptions to these modification labels are clients in the form of mods, examples of one can be wurst. which is an unfair client addon that gives a non-vanilla advantage over others
  • Injections, What are they? How do they work?
    • Injections are a type of client, designed to be injected into the game, either before or while the game is running. it modifies the targetted client and installs itself into it, resulting it it's own logic and functions
    • These injections can modify the game in a way that gives unfair advantages over vanilla players, through increased speed, combat enchancements, tracers, and more.
    • Injections can be a ghost client, meaning it cannot be detected through normal means, and must have a specific way to find it.

Speech and Language:

  • Derogatory or Offensive Words:
    • Offensive words can include slurs or insults such as the n-word, f-slur, r-slur, and others.
    • If you see someone acting this way in any context report them in the Discord with screenshots and a player name included
  • Sensitive Topics:
    • These topics can be harmful or just un-settling for people, so please refrain from bringing them up
    • Topics like these can include, any war event, encapurement(slavery, abduction), oppression or abuse.
    • And yes, while it was brought up here, this was for a reference on what not to bring up. no others are needed to be brought up, as this sums up everything
  • Chatting and Communication:
    • Stick to only English letters in chats, this makes it easier for moderation and so everyone can understand each other
    • Using unicode fonts or fancy chat won't be tolerated, as it can get annoying and sometimes on a large scale, cause lag for others
    • Refrain from any kinds of hate speech, this is when you attack a certain religion, ethnicity, sexual identity or sexual orientation.
  • Swearing:
    • Swearing is allowed, but keep it to a minimium alongside these restrictions
    • Do not direct a swear towards anyone, especially the more heavy ones

Spawn And Flag Camping:

  • Spawn Camping, What Is It?
    • Spawn camping consists of a player waiting or "camping", a location; in this case spawn, in order to kill another player
    • Do not wait at spawn to kill someone, it's not cool, it's not fun. and it has consequences
  • Flag Camping, What Is It?
    • Flag camping consists of a player again waiting or "camping", a location; in this case it's a flag instead, in order to kill another player
    • A flag is a respawn point, and is considered a spawn
  • Are the two different?
    • The two are similiar, they both have the concept of a spawn point, and someone patiently waiting for a free unsuspecting kill.
    • They are the same, and should be treated as such. the only difference is spawn location and reasoning

Combat And Flag Logging:

  • Combat Logging, What Is It?
    • Combat logging occurs when a player is tagged in combat or was attacked and has chosen to log out the instant or up to a maximum of 15 seconds after being attacked
    • By maximum, you must wait up to 15 seconds before logging out after being hit under any context. to be safer you can choose to wait even longer
  • Flag Logging, What Is It?
    • Flag logging occurs when a player chooses to break a flag and then logs out the instant the flag is broken, or up to a maximum of 15 seconds after the action
    • By maximum, you must wait up to 15 seconds before logging out after breaking a flag. To be safer you can choose to wait even longer
  • How are the two different?
    • The two are vastly different, but are and should be treated as the same offence severity.
    • One is breaking a flag, which offers significantly more gold than killing a player, but both only occur upon a logout
    • Choosing not to follow any of these will be considered punishable and consequences will follow your actions
